Taxpayer money must be wisely spent. As a State Senator, I will continue to fight for sound and conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the taxpayers, and curbing wasteful government spending. |
I firmly oppose tax increases. The California tax rates are among the highest in the nation and high taxes are stealing the American Dream from our families as they are forced to work harder every year. Because of unfair taxes and government waste, hard work doesn't mean more time with the family, more time for vacations or a better house. Instead, hard work just means more taxes.
