Villa Park, Orange County's smallest city, is recognized as a "Hidden Jewel" and one of the friendliest and most welcoming places to live with the lowest crime rate in the County. With a historic agricultural past, Villa Park is now predominantly a residential city with a combination of retail and commercial businesses, and I welcome the opportunity to be your next State Senator.
I will give you the dedication needed to be your voice and champion in Sacramento on the issues that matter to you.
In the State Senate, my priorities will be simple.
1. Villa Park Taxpayer Protection
I will fight for sound conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the Villa Park taxpayers, and demand the end of wasteful government spending. I will vote to reduce taxes so that more money goes into the pockets of the Villa Park taxpayers and back into the Villa Park economy.
2. Villa Park Protecting Property Rights
People in Villa Park work an entire lifetime to procure the American Dream of owning a home or business. I will continue to be a leading advocate for the protection of Villa Park private property rights.
3. Villa Park Education
Our children are the future of Villa Park . I support the view that California needs an integrated, transparent education system that allows Villa Park parents, the public, educators, and policymakers to access useful information about our Villa Park schools. California spends billions of our precious tax dollars on education every year. It's time we started getting what we are paying for in Villa Park . And, that means holding everyone accountable: administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
4. Villa Park Demanding Ethics and Reform
I will demand on behalf of Villa Park an end to the outrageous salaries and perks of free cars and tax-free salaries that state politicians give themselves. I support term limits and a part-time legislature. It is time to put normal, hardworking people back in charge of our government.
5. Villa Park Delivering Transportation Solutions
Together we will work toward delivering transportation solutions for Villa Park that will improve the quality of life throughout Orange County.
6. Villa Park Fighting Illegal Immigration
On behalf of Villa Park, I will work toward securing our border with Mexico and vote against driver's licenses and reduced college tuition for illegal immigrants. I will voice on behalf of Villa Park my support of English as our one and only national language.
