Santa Ana, the County Seat and largest city in Orange County, and Ninth largest in our state, enjoys ethnic and cultural diversity. As Santa Ana continues to work toward revitalization, I welcome the opportunity to be your next State Senator.
I will give you the dedication needed to be your voice and champion in Sacramento on the issues that matter to you.
In the State Senate, my priorities will be simple.
1. Santa Ana Taxpayer Protection
I will fight for sound conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the Santa Ana taxpayers, and demand the end of wasteful government spending. I will vote to reduce taxes so that more money goes into the pockets of the Santa Ana taxpayers and back into the Santa Ana economy.
2. Santa Ana Protecting Property Rights
People in Santa Ana work an entire lifetime to procure the American Dream of owning a home or business. I will continue to be a leading advocate for the protection of Santa Ana private property rights.
3. Santa Ana Education
Our children are the future of Santa Ana . I support the view that California needs an integrated, transparent education system that allows Santa Ana parents, the public, educators, and policymakers to access useful information about our Santa Ana schools. California spends billions of our precious tax dollars on education every year. It's time we started getting what we are paying for in Santa Ana . And, that means holding everyone accountable: administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
4. Santa Ana Demanding Ethics and Reform
I will demand on behalf of Santa Ana an end to the outrageous salaries and perks of free cars and tax-free salaries that state politicians give themselves. I support term limits and a part-time legislature. It is time to put normal, hardworking people back in charge of our government.
5. Santa Ana Delivering Transportation Solutions
Together we will work toward delivering transportation solutions for Santa Ana that will improve the quality of life throughout Orange County.
6. Santa Ana Fighting Illegal Immigration
On behalf of Santa Ana, I will work toward securing our border with Mexico and vote against driver's licenses and reduced college tuition for illegal immigrants. I will voice on behalf of Santa Ana my support of English as our one and only national language.
