If you live in Rancho Santa Margarita, Vote for Harry Sidhu for California State Senate 2008
Rancho Santa Margarita was planned as an "Urban Village" offering the best of two worlds: all of the elements and advantages of a small city plus the quality of life of a small village. Rancho Santa Margarita has ranked as one of the safest communities in Orange County among cities with a population of less than100,000 residents, and I welcome the opportunity to be your next State Senator.
I will give you the dedication needed to be your voice and champion in Sacramento on the issues that matter to you.
In the State Senate, my priorities will be simple.
1. Rancho Santa Margarita Taxpayer Protection
I will fight for sound conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the Rancho Santa Margarita taxpayers, and demand the end of wasteful government spending. I will vote to reduce taxes so that more money goes into the pockets of the Rancho Santa Margarita taxpayers and back into the Rancho Santa Margarita economy.
2. Rancho Santa Margarita Protecting Property Rights
People in Rancho Santa Margarita work an entire lifetime to procure the American Dream of owning a home or business. I will continue to be a leading advocate for the protection of Rancho Santa Margarita private property rights.
3. Rancho Santa Margarita Education
Our children are the future of Rancho Santa Margarita . I support the view that California needs an integrated, transparent education system that allows Rancho Santa Margarita parents, the public, educators, and policymakers to access useful information about our Rancho Santa Margarita schools. California spends billions of our precious tax dollars on education every year. It's time we started getting what we are paying for in Rancho Santa Margarita . And, that means holding everyone accountable: administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
4. Rancho Santa Margarita Demanding Ethics and Reform
I will demand on behalf of Rancho Santa Margarita an end to the outrageous salaries and perks of free cars and tax-free salaries that state politicians give themselves. I support term limits and a part-time legislature. It is time to put normal, hardworking people back in charge of our government.
5. Rancho Santa Margarita Delivering Transportation Solutions
Together we will work toward delivering transportation solutions for Rancho Santa Margarita that will improve the quality of life throughout Orange County.
6. Rancho Santa Margarita Fighting Illegal Immigration
On behalf of Rancho Santa Margarita, I will work toward securing our border with Mexico and vote against driver's licenses and reduced college tuition for illegal immigrants. I will voice on behalf of Rancho Santa Margarita my support of English as our one and only national language.
