In the State Senate, my priorities will be simple.
1. Mission Viejo Taxpayer Protection
I will fight for sound conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the Mission Viejo taxpayers, and demand the end of wasteful government spending. I will vote to reduce taxes so that more money goes into the pockets of the Mission Viejo taxpayers and back into the Mission Viejo economy.
2. Mission Viejo Protecting Property Rights
People in Mission Viejo work an entire lifetime to procure the American Dream of owning a home or business. I will continue to be a leading advocate for the protection of Mission Viejo private property rights.
3. Mission Viejo Education
Our children are the future of Mission Viejo . I support the view that California needs an integrated, transparent education system that allows Mission Viejo parents, the public, educators, and policymakers to access useful information about our Mission Viejo schools. California spends billions of our precious tax dollars on education every year. It's time we started getting what we are paying for in Mission Viejo . And, that means holding everyone accountable: administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
4. Mission Viejo Demanding Ethics and Reform
I will demand on behalf of Mission Viejo an end to the outrageous salaries and perks of free cars and tax-free salaries that state politicians give themselves. I support term limits and a part-time legislature. It is time to put normal, hardworking people back in charge of our government.
5. Mission Viejo Delivering Transportation Solutions
Together we will work toward delivering transportation solutions for Mission Viejo that will improve the quality of life throughout Orange County.
6. Mission Viejo Fighting Illegal Immigration
On behalf of Mission Viejo, I will work toward securing our border with Mexico and vote against driver's licenses and reduced college tuition for illegal immigrants. I will voice on behalf of Mission Viejo my support of English as our one and only national language.
