In the State Senate, my priorities will be simple.
1. Laguna Niguel Taxpayer Protection
I will fight for sound conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the Laguna Niguel taxpayers, and demand the end of wasteful government spending. I will vote to reduce taxes so that more money goes into the pockets of the Laguna Niguel taxpayers and back into the Laguna Niguel economy.
2. Laguna Niguel Protecting Property Rights
People in Laguna Niguel work an entire lifetime to procure the American Dream of owning a home or business. I will continue to be a leading advocate for the protection of Laguna Niguel private property rights.
3. Laguna Niguel Education
Our children are the future of Laguna Niguel . I support the view that California needs an integrated, transparent education system that allows Laguna Niguel parents, the public, educators, and policymakers to access useful information about our Laguna Niguel schools. California spends billions of our precious tax dollars on education every year. It's time we started getting what we are paying for in Laguna Niguel . And, that means holding everyone accountable: administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
4. Laguna Niguel Demanding Ethics and Reform
I will demand on behalf of Laguna Niguel an end to the outrageous salaries and perks of free cars and tax-free salaries that state politicians give themselves. I support term limits and a part-time legislature. It is time to put normal, hardworking people back in charge of our government.
5. Laguna Niguel Delivering Transportation Solutions
Together we will work toward delivering transportation solutions for Laguna Niguel that will improve the quality of life throughout Orange County.
6. Laguna Niguel Fighting Illegal Immigration
On behalf of Laguna Niguel, I will work toward securing our border with Mexico and vote against driver's licenses and reduced college tuition for illegal immigrants. I will voice on behalf of Laguna Niguel my support of English as our one and only national language.
