In the State Senate, my priorities will be simple.
1. Irvine Taxpayer Protection
I will fight for sound conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the Irvine taxpayers, and demand the end of wasteful government spending. I will vote to reduce taxes so that more money goes into the pockets of the Irvine taxpayers and back into the Irvine economy.
2. Irvine Protecting Property Rights
People in Irvine work an entire lifetime to procure the American Dream of owning a home or business. I will continue to be a leading advocate for the protection of Irvine private property rights.
3. Irvine Education
Our children are the future of Irvine . I support the view that California needs an integrated, transparent education system that allows Irvine parents, the public, educators, and policymakers to access useful information about our Irvine schools. California spends billions of our precious tax dollars on education every year. It's time we started getting what we are paying for in Irvine . And, that means holding everyone accountable: administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
4. Irvine Demanding Ethics and Reform
I will demand on behalf of Irvine an end to the outrageous salaries and perks of free cars and tax-free salaries that state politicians give themselves. I support term limits and a part-time legislature. It is time to put normal, hardworking people back in charge of our government.
5. Irvine Delivering Transportation Solutions
Together we will work toward delivering transportation solutions for Irvine that will improve the quality of life throughout Orange County.
6. Irvine Fighting Illegal Immigration
On behalf of Irvine, I will work toward securing our border with Mexico and vote against driver's licenses and reduced college tuition for illegal immigrants. I will voice on behalf of Irvine my support of English as our one and only national language.
