Buena Park is a city of distinct heritage - from its early origins as a dairy center to the famed Knott's Berry Farm theme park to the current E-Zone located on and around Beach Boulevard south of the 91 Freeway. As Buena Park experiences stimulating renewal, I welcome the opportunity to be your next State Senator.
I will give you the dedication needed to be your voice and champion in Sacramento on the issues that matter to you.
In the State Senate, my priorities will be simple.
1. Buena Park Taxpayer Protection
I will fight for sound conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the Buena Park taxpayers, and demand the end of wasteful government spending. I will vote to reduce taxes so that more money goes into the pockets of the Buena Park taxpayers and back into the Buena Park economy.
2. Buena Park Protecting Property Rights
People in Buena Park work an entire lifetime to procure the American Dream of owning a home or business. I will continue to be a leading advocate for the protection of Buena Park private property rights.
3. Buena Park Education
Our children are the future of Buena Park . I support the view that California needs an integrated, transparent education system that allows Buena Park parents, the public, educators, and policymakers to access useful information about our Buena Park schools. California spends billions of our precious tax dollars on education every year. It's time we started getting what we are paying for in Buena Park . And, that means holding everyone accountable: administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
4. Buena Park Demanding Ethics and Reform
I will demand on behalf of Buena Park an end to the outrageous salaries and perks of free cars and tax-free salaries that state politicians give themselves. I support term limits and a part-time legislature. It is time to put normal, hardworking people back in charge of our government.
5. Buena Park Delivering Transportation Solutions
Together we will work toward delivering transportation solutions for Buena Park that will improve the quality of life throughout Orange County.
6. Buena Park Fighting Illegal Immigration
On behalf of Buena Park, I will work toward securing our border with Mexico and vote against driver's licenses and reduced college tuition for illegal immigrants. I will voice on behalf of Buena Park my support of English as our one and only national language.
