Anaheim, one of the nation's premier municipalities and the 10th most populous city in our state, welcomes millions of visitors - truly making it where the world comes to live, work and play. It has been an honor to serve as an elected official in Anaheim developing policies which have gained statewide and national recognition for innovation and efficiency while giving residents and businesses greater freedom of choice and opportunities, and I welcome the opportunity to be your next State Senator.
I will give you the dedication needed to be your voice and champion in Sacramento on the issues that matter to you.
In the State Senate, my priorities will be simple.
1. Anaheim Taxpayer Protection
I will fight for sound conservative fiscal responsibility, accountability to the Anaheim taxpayers, and demand the end of wasteful government spending. I will vote to reduce taxes so that more money goes into the pockets of the Anaheim taxpayers and back into the Anaheim economy.
2. Anaheim Protecting Property Rights
People in Anaheim work an entire lifetime to procure the American Dream of owning a home or business. I will continue to be a leading advocate for the protection of Anaheim private property rights.
3. Anaheim Education
Our children are the future of Anaheim . I support the view that California needs an integrated, transparent education system that allows Anaheim parents, the public, educators, and policymakers to access useful information about our Anaheim schools. California spends billions of our precious tax dollars on education every year. It's time we started getting what we are paying for in Anaheim . And, that means holding everyone accountable: administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
4. Anaheim Demanding Ethics and Reform
I will demand on behalf of Anaheim an end to the outrageous salaries and perks of free cars and tax-free salaries that state politicians give themselves. I support term limits and a part-time legislature. It is time to put normal, hardworking people back in charge of our government.
5. Anaheim Delivering Transportation Solutions
Together we will work toward delivering transportation solutions for Anaheim that will improve the quality of life throughout Orange County.
6. Anaheim Fighting Illegal Immigration
On behalf of Anaheim, I will work toward securing our border with Mexico and vote against driver's licenses and reduced college tuition for illegal immigrants. I will voice on behalf of Anaheim my support of English as our one and only national language.
